Delete your MecaOBD account

This page allows you to request deletion of a MecaOBD account and its associated data, even if the application is no longer installed on your device.

Deletion request

Send the request from the email address associated with your MecaOBD account.

State that you want your account deleted and, if possible, include your username to help us locate the account.

Never send your password.

What happens to your data

When a valid request is processed, MecaOBD will delete or disassociate the account and associated data in accordance with its Privacy Notice.

Certain records may be retained when necessary for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, transaction-verification, legal- compliance or incident-resolution purposes.

In particular, MecaOBD may retain a technical device identifier, disassociated from the deleted account, solely to prevent the initial bonus from being claimed multiple times from the same device.

Request verification

To protect accounts against unauthorized requests, MecaOBD may ask for reasonable information to verify that the request comes from the account holder.

Verification will never require you to send us your password.

Deletion from the application

If you still have access to MecaOBD, you may also start account deletion directly from Settings → Account → Delete account.
